Huge DIY Project Underway

So, it has been a while, since I last posted any DIY projects.

I'll tell you why:
I have been busy working on a Humungous DIY job that has absorbed my whole life. It's a solo project that I have to see through to the end all by myself (though I admit to having a bit of help getting things started)

Yup, you've probably guessed by now...

I'm pregnant.

My current view of the world is obscured by my enormous belly.

We are all very excited and nervous, the early days were not good and I wasn't feeling confident at all. I alternated between sleep and worry for 4 months, now we are into the start of the 6th month and things are feeling much more positive.

I know y'all just wouldn't be happy without the obligatory photo of the inside of my uterus so here you go (other peoples scan photos always just looks like an old potato to me) 

We couldn't be happier, but work on the house has slowed dramatically. It would have been nice to have the major jobs finished by the time Tiny arrives, but it just isn't going to happen. So we'll plod along, getting bits and pieces done where we can and just be happy that we are going to be a family of 4 by Christmas.



Usually on big projects I give step by step details but I think I'll skip that today if you don't mind.
