Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time!

It has been a while since I posted, I was really rather poorly for 3 weeks in the run up to Christmas, which was not fun. We really didn't get much done for the whole of December (The downstairs radiators did get fitted, but more about that later.) I was just well enough to finish off our Christmas shopping...

Then we went to the ballet!

And the tree went up!

And the fire got lit!

And the chocolates got opened!

And Santa came!

It is messy, but it is good, christmas morning mess!

And we had a lovely lazy Christmas.

Christmas is always a deadline for us so December tends to be full of DIY jobs and chores to get things finished off... My being ill (and Small being my companion in sickness) really threw a spanner in the works.

The plasterboard did not get patched, the stairs did not get painted, the plaster did not get sanded, the curtains did not get made and we ignored it all.

And we had a lovely time, thankyou very much.


Tomorrow the decorations come down *BOO* and we move back to reality and I will be back to plastering and sanding like a trooper (That is, of course, a trooper who does a lot of plastering and sanding)
